We will start with REGGIO EMILIA APPROACH

Loris Malaguzzi was an Early Childhood Educator who founded the philosophy and approach called Reggio Emilia, in the town, yep you guessed it - Reggio Emilia , Italy !

The Reggio Emilia Approach has 3 foundational steps:

~ a positive image of the child

~ children learn by being active participants

~ play is an important part of learning and early development

We will explore these together.

I really enjoy the open, curious and explorative nature of Reggio Emilia. Loris has been quoted saying “I’ll learn as I go along, and the children will learn with me”. I love this.
